Cooler & Freezer Combo Units

A walk-in cooler-freezer combo unit gives you the best of both worlds in a single footprint. International Coolers manufactures custom combo units with an insulated partition wall that creates two independent temperature zones — a cooler side maintaining 35°F–40°F and a freezer side reaching as low as -20°F.

Combo units are the smart choice for operations that need both cooler and freezer storage but have limited floor space. Instead of purchasing, installing, and maintaining two separate units, a combo provides a unified solution with a single exterior footprint, simplified installation, and reduced energy costs compared to two standalone units.

Our combo units feature a 4-inch panel system on the cooler side, a 5-inch panel system on the freezer side, and a specially insulated partition wall that prevents thermal transfer between zones. Each zone has its own independent door, temperature controls, and optional refrigeration system, so you can maintain precise temperatures in each section without compromise.

Common configurations include 60/40 splits, 50/50 splits, and custom ratios based on your specific storage needs. We offer hinged doors, sliding doors, and glass display doors on either side, with heated frames on the freezer section to prevent ice buildup.
