Insulated Metal Panels

Insulated metal panels (IMPs) are the building blocks of modern cold storage, food processing facilities, clean rooms, and controlled-environment buildings. International Coolers supplies ASTM E84 and UL723 certified insulated metal panels that meet the strictest fire safety and building code requirements in the industry.

Our panels are constructed with a rigid polyurethane foam core bonded between two steel facings. The foam core delivers exceptional thermal performance (R-value of 7.1 per inch for 4-inch panels), creating an continuous insulation envelope without the thermal bridges found in traditional stud-wall construction.

Panel facings are available in 26-gauge steel with multiple finish options: galvanized, stucco-embossed galvanized, smooth white, and food-grade stainless steel. Custom colors and coatings are available for projects with specific aesthetic or functional requirements.

We supply panels for new construction, facility expansions, retrofits, and repairs. Our panels are used in walk-in coolers and freezers, cold storage warehouses, food processing plants, pharmaceutical facilities, clean rooms, data centers, and agricultural storage buildings.

Standard panel widths are 42 inches with tongue-and-groove edges for a tight, energy-efficient fit. Panels are available in thicknesses from 2 inches to 8 inches, with lengths cut to your exact specifications. All panels ship flat-packed on pallets for efficient freight and easy handling on site.
